Vegetarian Delirium - EVEN BETTER FALAFELS

I adapted these today to make them smoother and spicier:

2tbsp olive oil
1 onion, finely chopped
1 garlic clove, crushed
400g can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
3tsp curry powder
1tsp ground cumin
1tsp ground coriander
Handful chopped parsley
1 egg, beaten
2tbsp flour

Heat oil in pan and fry onion, garlic and curry powder until onion is soft.
Tip into mixer with other spices and chickpeas.
Add parsley, egg and flour and season.
Blend together well.
Drop spoonfuls of mixture into hot oil and squash into pattie shape with back of spoon.
Fry until golden brown and firm, turning regularly.

Serve in pitta breads
